Overview
Silk Swing has no accounts, no analytics and no crash reporting, and the developer collects nothing about you. Your score and settings stay on your device. The one exception is the banner advert at the bottom of the screen: loading it requires a network request to Google, which is described in full below. The game itself plays offline.
Data Stored on Your Device
Silk Swing stores two small values locally on your device, using Apple's standard preferences storage:
- Your best score
- Whether sound effects are switched on or off
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted, backed up to any developer-operated server, or shared with anyone.
Advertising
The banner advert is served by Google AdMob. To request an advert, the Google Mobile Ads SDK contacts Google's servers and may process technical information such as your device type, operating system version, coarse location inferred from your IP address, and an advertising identifier.
- Adverts are requested as non-personalised. The app does not ask for permission to track you, and does not use your data to build an advertising profile.
- The app is tagged as directed to children and as being for users under the age of consent, which instructs Google to withhold behavioural targeting.
- The developer receives only aggregate counts of adverts shown. No information that identifies you reaches the developer.
- Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Data Not Collected
Beyond the advertising described above, the app does not collect or have access to your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, or health data, and it has no analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
Tracking
Silk Swing does not track you across apps or websites, and does not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. Because adverts are requested as non-personalised, no App Tracking Transparency prompt is shown and no tracking permission is requested.
Network Access
The only network requests the app makes are those needed to fetch the banner advert. Your score, your progress, and your settings are never uploaded, and nothing is synced between devices.
Data Deletion
To delete everything the app has stored, simply delete Silk Swing from your device. That removes your best score and sound preference, which is the entirety of the stored data.
Children's Privacy
Silk Swing is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. The developer collects no information from anyone. Adverts are configured as child-directed and non-personalised so that behavioural targeting is withheld.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes in a meaningful way, the updated policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
