About Silk Swing
Silky the silkworm swings through an endless mulberry canopy on threads of silk. Hold to shoot silk at the nearest branch and swing, release to fly your arc, then hold again to catch the next branch.
Touch the ground, or let the advancing canopy sweep past you, and the run is over. Thorn burrs wound rather than kill: catch one and Silky is hurt for a few seconds, and a second thorn before he heals ends the run. Tap to try again.
How to Play
- Hold anywhere to shoot silk at the nearest branch above you and start swinging.
- Release to let go and fly along your arc.
- Timing is everything. Let go too early and you drop short; too late and you get flung backwards into the canopy edge.
- Hold through the arc to pump the swing and build speed.
- Golden mulberries are worth extra points, but they hang low — the rewarding line is also the risky one.
- Thorn burrs wound rather than kill. While hurt, Silky turns pale with a heal ring winding down around him — touch another thorn before it finishes and the run ends.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How is my score calculated? Your score is the distance travelled in metres, plus 3 points for every golden mulberry collected.
- I can't hear any sound. Tap the speaker button on the start screen to check it isn't muted, and use "Test sound" to see the current volume and output. Sound effects play through the speaker even when your phone's Ring/Silent switch is set to silent, but they still follow your media volume — press volume up while the game is open. If headphones or a car stereo are connected, audio goes there instead.
- How do I turn sound off? Tap the speaker button on the start screen or the game over screen. Your choice is remembered.
- Does the game need an internet connection? Only to load the banner advert at the bottom of the screen. The game itself plays fine offline — if no advert loads, the strip simply stays empty.
- Are the adverts personalised? No. Adverts are requested as non-personalised, so the app never asks to track you and does not build an advertising profile.
- Where is my best score stored? On your device only. It is not sent anywhere and is not synced between devices.
- How do I reset my best score? Delete and reinstall the app. There is no other stored data to lose.
- Which devices are supported? iPhone running iOS 17 or later. The game is portrait-only and designed for phones.
